Preguntas frecuentes sobre logística internacional de China a América Latina
What does China Latin do exactly?
China Latin (Guangzhou China Latin Logistics Co., Ltd.) is an international logistics and supply chain company based in Guangzhou, China. Founded in 2016, we specialize in connecting Latin American businesses with Chinese suppliers. We offer end-to-end services including international air freight, sea freight, express courier, door-to-door logistics, Guangzhou warehousing, and procurement support. We are a B2B partner -- we do not handle personal packages or individual consumer orders.
Which countries do you serve?
Our core markets are across Latin America, including:
- Mexico
- Colombia
- Venezuela
- Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia
- Brazil
- Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay
- Dominican Republic
- Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador
- Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua
- United States
- Spain & Portugal
What languages does your team speak?
Our team communicates in Spanish, Portuguese, English, and Chinese. Spanish is our primary language for client communication, followed by Portuguese for Brazilian clients. This means you can work with us directly without relying on translation tools or intermediaries -- reducing miscommunication and saving time throughout your supply chain operations.
Do you work with individuals or only companies?
We operate exclusively as a B2B service provider. We do not handle personal packages, individual consumer orders, or dropshipping. Our clients are freight forwarders, importers, customs brokers, and businesses importing commercial goods from China. If you are a company -- even a small startup -- with a legitimate commercial import need, we are happy to discuss how we can help.
When should I choose air freight vs. sea freight?
The right choice depends on your shipment volume, urgency, and product type. Here is a general guideline:
- ✓ Recommended from 100 KG
- ✓ Urgent or time-sensitive cargo
- ✓ High-value goods
- ✓ Electronics, e-commerce stock
- ✓ Recommended from 1 CBM
- ✓ Large volume, cost-sensitive cargo
- ✓ Furniture, machinery, garments
- ✓ FCL (full container) or LCL (groupage)
Not sure which to choose? Contact us and we will recommend the best option based on your specific shipment.

Can you ship sensitive or special cargo such as e-cigarettes?
Yes. We have extensive experience shipping sensitive cargo including e-cigarettes and vaping products. We are familiar with export procedures from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and South Korea, and we understand the varying import regulations across different Latin American countries. For e-cigarettes without battery test certificates, we can also assist in quickly arranging the required air freight inspection reports. Each shipment is evaluated individually -- contact us to discuss your specific product and destination.
Do you offer express courier services (DHL, UPS, FedEx)?
Yes. We work with DHL, UPS, and FedEx for express courier shipments. This service is recommended for commercial samples, small-batch goods, urgent replenishments, documents, and small commercial parcels. The minimum recommended weight is 21 KG for cost efficiency. For larger shipments, we typically recommend our air freight or sea freight services.
Where is your warehouse located and what services does it offer?
Our own warehouse is located in Guangzhou, with a logistics and warehousing partner network across China's major cities including Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Tianjin, Qingdao, and Xiamen.
Our warehousing services include:
- Cargo receiving
- Inventory management
- Multi-supplier consolidation
- Repackaging & relabeling
- Photo inspection
- Quantity verification
- Basic visual inspection
- International shipment arrangement
I have multiple suppliers in China. Can you receive all their goods in one place?
Yes -- this is one of our most valued services. We can receive goods from multiple suppliers at our Guangzhou warehouse, consolidate everything into a single shipment, and then arrange international freight. This eliminates the need for you to coordinate separate deliveries and shipments. We will verify quantities, inspect packaging, photograph the goods, and notify you at each step before the cargo leaves China.
Can you repack or relabel my goods before shipping?
Yes. At our Guangzhou warehouse we can repackage goods, replace outer cartons, add or replace labels, and reorganize packing to meet your shipping or customs requirements. This is particularly useful when suppliers use non-standard packaging, when you need to consolidate products from different sources into uniform cartons, or when your destination country requires specific labeling. Please inform us of your requirements in advance so we can prepare accordingly.
Can you help me find suppliers in China?
Yes. Our procurement support service includes supplier sourcing and factory vetting. We can search for manufacturers based on your product specifications, shortlist verified options, conduct factory audits, assist with price negotiation, coordinate samples, and follow up on production. This is a full service -- we act as your on-the-ground representative in China, communicating with factories on your behalf in Chinese.
Can you pay suppliers on my behalf?
Yes. We offer payment collection and disbursement services as part of our procurement support. We can receive your payment and transfer funds to your Chinese suppliers in RMB or other agreed currencies. This is especially useful for clients who do not have a direct banking relationship with Chinese factories or who find international wire transfers to China complex. All payment arrangements are handled transparently and documented clearly.
Do you offer quality inspection at the factory?
Yes. We provide pre-shipment quality inspection at Chinese factories. Our team visits the factory, checks the goods against your specifications, conducts quantity counts, and produces a detailed report with photographs. This gives you confidence that the products meet your standards before they leave China -- avoiding costly returns, disputes, or delays at destination. We also assist in resolving defects directly with the supplier when issues are identified.
What does "door-to-door" service include?
Our door-to-door service covers the entire logistics chain from China to your delivery address in the destination country. This typically includes:
- 1 Cargo pickup or receiving at the Chinese supplier's location
- 2 Export customs clearance and documentation in China
- 3 International freight (air or sea, depending on the route)
- 4 Import customs clearance at the destination country
- 5 Last-mile delivery to your warehouse or address
Which countries have door-to-door routes available?
We currently operate the following door-to-door routes:
- China → Colombia (Air & Sea)
- China → Venezuela (Sea)
- China → Brazil (Sea)
- China → Paraguay (Air)
- China → United States (Air & Sea)
Don't see your country listed? Contact us -- we may still be able to arrange a solution for your destination.
Is door-to-door suitable for first-time importers?
Yes -- door-to-door is ideal for first-time importers or businesses that want to simplify the import process. Instead of coordinating separately with a Chinese freight forwarder, an international carrier, a customs broker, and a local delivery company, you deal with a single point of contact. We handle the entire process and keep you informed at every stage. This significantly reduces the complexity and risk of importing from China for the first time.
What export documents do you help prepare?
We assist with all standard China export documentation, including:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading / Air Waybill
- Certificate of Origin
- China Export Customs Declaration
- Inspection / Test Reports (when required)
We coordinate with your suppliers to ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with your destination country's customs requirements.
My supplier's documents are often incomplete or inaccurate. Can you help?
This is one of the most common challenges our clients face. We actively coordinate with your suppliers to collect and verify all required documents before shipment. We check that cargo descriptions, quantities, weights, dimensions, and values are accurate and consistent across all documents. For customs brokers and freight forwarders in Latin America, we understand that document accuracy directly impacts your clearance process -- we take this seriously and follow up with suppliers on your behalf until everything is correct.
